Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi Mix Alpha, smartphone that will be presented on Tuesday (24), will have a 100MP sensor. Confirmation came through the social network Weibo in one of several images that prepared for the announcement event. The teaser talks about replacing the 64MP sensor, the hitherto most advanced sensor present in the Redmi Note 8 Pro (ISOCELL GW1).
Xiaomi worked with Samsung to make a new sensor that would meet the specific needs of the company's new smartphone. The ISOCELL Bright HMX supports up to 108MP and will be part of this which will be a mobile phone with a different design.

To help us get an idea of what we can expect from the quality of photos, a photo with up to eight times magnification has been shared, the photo shows a model and the focus is on your eyes. You can see that even with the zoom, the device preserves a great deal of detail, but it comes at a cost. The 12032 x 9024 images form a file of about 40MB.
It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi will work to reduce postprocessing time for Pro mode and what it will be like to normally shoot with it. Anyway, with Redmi Note 7 already delivering great performance using 48MP and GCam, 100MP can be really amazing, especially with Google software support.
One of the images released earlier pointed out that the phone could be folding because of the way the side looks, a possibility that was denied by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. According to him, the phone will have a shocking design and will not be like anything seen so far.
Xiaomi also revealed that the device will have 5G, sharing an image on Twitter and commenting that we are in the age of connection. She asks what direction the company should take for the next phone, using the Notch screen? Notch in gout? Pop up camera? Or what it actually used that will not be revealed until the 24th.
As we already know that the company worked on an on-screen camera technology, it seems certain that this will be the solution used, but it is certainly not only that that draws attention on the phone. Surely Xiaomi is striving to bring innovation to the market, not content to offer handsets at a more affordable cost.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha will be made using high quality materials, according to a recently unveiled poster. Disclosed materials include Ti (Titanium), SiO2 (Silica), Al203 (Alumina).
