Xiaomi announces update of its devices to MIUI 11 from 22 of ...

Xiaomi introduced MIUI 11, its new user interface for its smartphones, last month. Now the company is already releasing a new list of handsets will receive the system update, which is based on Android 10, from October 22 (next Tuesday). The announcement came on the official Twitter MIUI India, which announced when each device will receive the news:


System brings more modern design and adds several features

Xiaomi smartphones will start receiving the wave update. Distribution will begin on October 22 and the first devices to receive MIUI news are: Poco F1, Redmi K20, Redmi Y3, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S, and Redmi Note 7 Pro. These devices will run until October 31, when a new distribution phase will begin on November 4 and end on the 12th.

The third wave will be from November 13th to the 29th of the same month. The fourth and last round of updates will be from December 18th to 26th. You can check the table below all the devices that will be updated on their respective dates: (click on the image to see it larger)


New system brings several features and was announced during Xiaomi event this week

The last phase to take place in December is for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, which was released in September. Some smartphones may already have access to MIUI 11, if the device you are interested in did not appear in the list above, see if it is already on devices that can be updated by clicking here.

MIUI 11 changes several visual aspects of the UI system. Xiaomi has modified application icons to make them a little smoother, with more white space to make the view clearer, without so much information. One of the highlights of the system is its new dark theme across the interface. In addition, there are new animations, themes, wallpapers and improved notification system. A new Mi Lan Pro system font has also been added and always-on display functionality has been enhanced.
