Showcase of young talent, the Sao Paulo Junior Football Cup 2020 starts this Thursday (2) with broadcast of all games for the first time in its history.

In the first phase of the Cup, as the competition is known, 189 live games will be shown. Most, restricted to the internet, will be on FPF TV, the Paulista Football Federation's Facebook channel, and the MyCujoo streaming platform.

Supporters will be able to follow the clashes also through Facebook Copinha, in addition to sites, applications and TV channels of Globo, SporTV, Culture and Life Network.

This year's edition will not have the Flamengo's participation. The Rio team gave up the championship because they intend to use their under-20 team during the State of Rio due to the late vacation of the professional squad, who played the Club World in December.

On the first day of the tournament this Thursday, the Palm trees debut against the Union (MT) at 9.30 pm (with SporTV broadcast). The team seeks an unprecedented title and will play the first phase in Araraquara, in the interior of São Paulo.

The alviverde team entered the competition striker Gabriel Veron, champion and elected the best player of the last Worldwide U17 with the Brazilian team. The athlete should be integrated to the professional team this year.

O Sao Paulo is the current champion, already the Corinthians accumulates the most titles: 10. The teams will play the first phase in the cities of São Bernardo do Campo and Franca, respectively.

The tricolor team debut on Saturday (4), against Operário Rail (PR), while the alvinegro faces the Retrô (PE), this Friday (3).

O Santos also debut this Friday, against Timon EC. The team seeks the fourth title and will play in Marilia.

This year, the tournament will have 127 teams, which will be divided into 32 groups. The final will be played on the 25th, in celebration of the anniversary of the state capital, at Pacaembu stadium. Unlike other editions of the tournament, there are no foreign clubs in the contest.
