“where Bram Stoker was inspired to write his novel… Dracula… the rest is history…”

“Whitby is a real seaside town and port, in the northeast of England, also famous for its Steampunk weekend once a year, when the town is overrun by the weird and wonderful.”

Land profile

“This concentrated little interpretation of mine is based far more on the FF Coppola Movie
than the book, and is nothing much at all like reality.

In fact it is all my own imagining apart from some basic landmarks like the once single Pier, the steps leading to, the Church, the Manor and the Abbey.

I also spent quite a bit of time trying to recreate a tiered garden ending at , what would become, Lucy’s Tomb.
For me it also has a very strong Lovecraftian feel. A sort of English Innsmouth. ..”
