The Australian National Film and Sound Archive this week released unpublished footage of what would have been the last shoot of a Tasmanian tiger, an extinct species several decades ago.
The footage, CNN says, was found in the movie "Tasmania the Wonderland".

The last images of the Tasmanian tiger had been recorded more than 85 years ago, at the Hobart Beaumaris Zoo in Australia, in March 1935.
The species was said to have become extinct the following year, when the last known specimen died in that same zoo.
