Almost everyone has heard Bobby McFerrin’s hit single ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’.

Music has a very captivating way to convey its message of being happy to everyone.

Bobby McFerrin’s simple message won over many people by telling them not to worry.

Living a happy and joyful life is lovely and is also suitable for your health. Being happy protects you from the stress of life.

Stress is related to the leading causes of death, such as heart disease, cancer, and stroke.

One of the best things already said is – ‘The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change’, and in our life, we have the power to make the necessary modifications if we want to.

Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation, we can always find comfort in the knowledge that it would also change.

Social networks and relationships are essential to happiness.

People are different, accept people for who or what they are, avoid confrontations, consistent arguments, and abandon all kinds of bitterness.

If different ideas seem inevitable, still try and make an effort to understand the situation, and you can get along because peace is found in everyone; increasing it is a way to make life more pleasant and also healthier.

Being happy is relatively easy; decide to be a pleasant person. Abraham Lincoln noted that most people, most of the time, can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or upset, how bright or monotonous they will look.

The choice is to decide to be satisfied. There are several ways to do this. Being grateful is an exceptional attitude.

We have much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bringing us home safely, thank the cook for the wonderful dinner and thank the guy who cleans his windows.

Also, thank the postman for bringing your mail, thank the police officer for leaving your place safe, and thank God for being alive.

Some people cannot start the day without their daily dose of news.

Try and think about it; 99% of the information we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news doesn’t seem like a wise move.

A religious association is also recommended.

Being part of a religious group with its songs, sacraments, prayers, and meditation promote inner peace.

Manage your time,  time is priceless and too essential to be wasted.

Time management can be seen as a list of rules that involve scheduling, setting goals, planning, creating to-do lists, and prioritizing.

These are the primary time management principles that must be understood to develop efficient personal time management skills.

These necessary skills can be further adjusted to include the finer points of each. It is a gift that can give you that extra resources to get the results you want. Laugh enthusiastically every day.

Did you hear a good joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they also say – ‘Laughter is the best medicine’.

Express your feelings, affections, friendship, and passion to the people around you. They will likely repay your actions.

Try not to keep your anger suppressed by frustrations.

This is bad for your health. Instead, find ways to express them in a way that will not hurt or damage anyone else.

Working hard brings enormous personal satisfaction. It gives the feeling of being competent to finish our tasks. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us.

They give us a sense of value. Work on things that you think are worth your time. Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and learn something new every day.

Knowledge also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. It can also give us more opportunities in the future.

Run, walk, and do other things your body was made for. Feel alive.

Avoid exposure to harmful elements such as loud noises, toxins, and hazardous locations. Those are the few simple things you can do every day to be happy.

And always remember the quote from Abraham Lincoln. He says, “Most people are as happy as they decide to be.” It’s a talent that everyone has, but they think they don’t – the power of innovation.

If you’ve ever marveled at someone’s creative ability, guess what, you can also create and innovate.

The crayon box in kindergarten was not limited to those who had potential; because the truth is that everyone has potential.

Do you know how long it took you to learn to ride a bicycle or drive or never make the same mistake again?

It is the same with innovation. It takes a little practice and a long time before this mental function is easily stimulated.

Follow the beat of your drum. Allowing other people to contribute will only bring dissonance to the music you are trying to make.

If you have an original idea, don’t waste time and effort trying to get people to understand.  And the help you are likely to get will come in the form of contradictory feedback.

If all those geniuses listened to their colleagues, we would probably still be living in the Middle Ages. Spend time on that.

I can’t help but emphasize this enough, though, please don’t confuse this tip to tell you to quit your regular profession altogether.

This involves complicated time management, but with a little discipline, you will be able to apply both.

Take a walk. Run a mile or two. Send all those endorphins running through your veins. The exercise certainly clears and relaxes your subconscious and allows anything to appear.

Record your dreams. Aren’t some of them just the craziest things your conscious mind would never have thought of?

If you’ve had these dreams before, and I’m sure you do, it just shows the untapped innovative power you have within you.

These dreams can generate an imaginative spark in you.

People will appreciate your change more because it is exclusively yours, and no one else would have thought of what you were conceiving. This will allow people to see how valuable you are.

Don’t hide behind cool devices or tools.

You don’t need the most expensive set of inks to produce a masterpiece – just like writing.

You don’t need some expensive fountain pens and plain paper for a best seller. Rowling wrote the first book in the Harry Potter series on pieces of fabric.

So what if you have an expensive SLR camera if you’re a terrible photographer?

Who cares if you have a new laptop if you can’t write?

The expert reduces the number of tools he has as he improves in his craft: he knows what works and what doesn’t.

Nothing works without passion. What wakes you up in the morning? What keeps the flame burning?

What is the only thing you will die for if you don’t? Sometimes talented people are outdone by people who want more. Think of the hare and the turtle.

Ellen DeGeneres once said that if you are not doing something you want, you don’t like it. And this is true.

Sometimes you want something so badly that it becomes virtually unstoppable. And that is passion.

Enthusiasm will keep you moving. Don’t worry about inspiration. You cannot force it; motivation comes when you least expect it, for those unpredictable but inevitable moments you must prepare for.

On the subway, you may have an idea, but unfortunately, your poor unhappy soul; you have no sheet of paper to scribble a thought that could change the world. Avoid these disasters.

Keep paper and pen at arm’s length at all times.

Remember that you are doing these things for your fulfillment and not for anyone else’s achievement.

But soon, they will notice, and everything should be a snowball from there.
