Screenwriter Mitch Dyer, responsible for the ‘Star Wars: Battlefront II’ campaigns, had access to some ‘The Ascension Skywalker’ concept art and posted one of them on his Twitter profile.
The surprising image shows Kylo Ren confronting Chewbacca in a kind of torture chamber, as he already did with Rey and Poe Dameron.
In the caption, Dyer wrote:
“This conceptual art from‘ Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker ’makes my heart ache. I really hope they filmed this so that we can watch the excluded scene – to see Kylo Ren confront Chewbacca like that is cruel. I'm dying to read the visual dictionary when it finally comes out this year. ”
This Rise of Skywalker concept art makes my heart hurt. I really hope they filmed this so we can watch the deleted scene – Kylo Ren having to face Chewbacca, especially like this, is wild.
Dying to read the art book when it finally launches this year <3 pic.twitter.com/zamFhHSKcg
