Samsung today began testing the Brazilian Portuguese version of Bixby, its virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence. The software is still in beta in our language, but can now be tested by all users of the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10 5G smartphones.
Neon will be presented at CES 2020 and, according to the company, it looks nothing like Bixby
According to Samsung representatives, the company seeks to adapt Bixby to the characteristics of the Brazilian market. They just did not explain what are the differences in the Brazilian market with regard to voice assistants and also did not comment on how they will modify the product for Brazil.
Bixby is a competitor for products like Google Assistant, Apple Siri and Amazon Alexa. One of its main differentials is the ability to memorize the user's routine and favorite applications. Through this machine learning capability, Samsung seeks to make the assistant more and more useful over time.
Flawless performance, design and cameras only have the highest price as a hindrance
“Bixby's main differentiator is to simplify users' routines, allowing them to focus on what is most important in their lives. During the testing period, we hope to improve the solution, adapting it to the unique characteristics of the Brazilian public, so that we can offer the best service possible when we officially launch Bixby to our user base ".
