Are you the best man at a friend’s wedding?
If so, then tradition says that you are responsible for organizing the bachelor party.
Many guys make the mistake of not doing any planning. They think all they need to do is call all the guys and tell them to be at the bar on Friday night.
Now, there is always a small chance that everyone will have fun, but this is the groom’s last big night, so why leave this to chance?
Even assuming that everything would work out without any planning, you don’t want everyone to drink all night, trying to get home.
It just isn’t worth the risk. Also, if you can have a little fun without planning, you can have a lot of fun when you plan. Now, don’t be too concerned with planning. You do not need to micromanage the entire case.
However, there are some questions that you need to answer.
What are the groom’s likes and dislikes? Does he drink alcohol? Is he outgoing or more relaxed? What kind of budget do you have to work with? Is it supposed to be a surprise bachelor party, or can the groom attend?
Who is invited?
Will there be strippers?
Will it be close to home?
These are just a few things you should consider when planning the party.
If the groom doesn’t want to go out on the town or wear a stripper, that’s fine.
There are still many things you can do. Having steaks on the grill and some cold beers is a great way to celebrate the groom’s upcoming wedding.
If you prefer to go somewhere, it is also a lot of fun to go to a sports event or concert.
Perhaps you would like the bachelor party to last more than a few hours; In that case, a group camping trip is a fantastic choice. But let’s be honest, most guys want a wild bachelor party.
They think of it as their last chance to enjoy the single life and want to make the most of that last chance.
This usually means a lot of drinking and strippers. While you want everyone to have fun, you also need to keep things out of control. An excellent start to a bachelor party is to hire a bus or limo (depending on how many guys are invited).
That way, you can drink all night and have fun from place to place, but you don’t have to worry about someone risking their lives driving drunk.
A bus or limo can be a little expensive, but the cost is not so bad if everyone (except the groom) pays their fair share.
The next thing to think about is where to do the bachelor party. If you have an unlimited budget, you can fly to Las Vegas over the weekend.
You can still do all the other things, but you’ll be doing it in Vegas! As you can probably see, a wild bachelor party requires more planning, but it’s worth it.
